Hi,
is it possible to install that nice tool on my usb-stick in order to use it everywhere? Seems the download-file is an installer and wants to write various informations on the lokal machine?

use the other download in this category it's only archived.
The installer installs an uninstaller and registers .npw extension other than that nothing is done. You may install then copy the program to your USB and then uninstall it. then it. nPassword will still run from your USB. |

Your app is super, and it does just what I need.
Would it be possible to add print functionality, so we can take periodic paper backups of the password list? I would hate for my memory stick to get lost or go bad, and lose everything.

Hi,
I noticed your copy has a black Title bar and is white;
is there a way to skin this app or change colors?
It's a great app with a nice and simple interface.
I'm using it with Win98SE and have had no failures or crashes with it.

| word uses whatever windows theme you have installed. The skining on the screenshot is because this is my windows theme. |

How to make nPassword Portable:
1.Download nPassword
2.Create a folder named nPass on your USB device
3.Extract the contents of nPassword_packed_v1.0.2.41.rar to the nPass folder on your USB device
4.Click nPassword_v.1.0.2.41.exe from your nPass folder to launch the program
I posted this again because the text editor failed to change the colour of my text and just posted the text with [color=brown:b0a31cdabb] [/color:b0a31cdabb] etc at the start and end of the lines!
The fact that the text editor did not work properly doesn't really say much for the author of this website! And if he also wrote the nPassword software, I would seriously worry about his programming skills! |
